Engineered for one thing: absolute reliability.

Every system in the building is there to keep an exam running on schedule and beyond reproach — from the network that feeds each node to the way candidates move from the gate to their seat.

Power backup

Online UPS plus an auto-switch silent DG set keep every node, switch and camera running through grid outages.

05 — QUESTIONS

Exam centre in Sambalpur? Start here.

Quick answers for candidates looking for an online exam centre in Sambalpur, and for agencies planning exams in western Odisha.

Is SMK Nexus a TCS iON exam centre in Sambalpur?

SMK Nexus Digital Solutions is an independent computer-based test (CBT) centre in Baraipali, Sambalpur, built to the centre norms that national testing agencies such as TCS iON use. Your exam venue is always printed on your admit card. If it says SMK Nexus Digital Solutions, Densargi Road, Baraipali, this is the place.

Which exams can be held here?

Recruitment exams (SSC, banking, railway and state-level), university and entrance exams, professional certifications, online assessments and skill tests: any exam delivered on computers over a secured local network.

Where exactly is the centre?

About 300 metres from Baraipali Chowk towards Densargi, on the 2nd floor above B K Sales Corporation, Densargi Road, Baraipali, Sambalpur, Odisha 768006. Open in Google Maps.

Is there parking at the centre?

There’s no dedicated parking inside the premises, but there is plenty of open space outside the building to park two-wheelers and cars.

What if the power goes out during an exam?

Your exam keeps running. An online UPS keeps every computer, network switch and CCTV camera powered without a break, and an auto-switch silent DG set takes over during longer grid outages.

Where do I keep my bag?

There are shoe racks and a bag-keeping area before the exam hall, so personal belongings stay outside the hall. Belongings are kept at your own risk, so it’s best not to bring valuables. Carry only what your admit card allows inside.

Is there enough room for invigilators to move between rows?

Yes. Rows are 6 feet apart, so invigilators and observers can walk every aisle and reach any seat without disturbing candidates. It’s a single open-plan 5,000 sq ft hall, fully ventilated and air-conditioned, with even lighting for long shifts.

We’re a testing agency. What can the centre handle?

207 computer nodes in a single 5,000 sq ft hall, isolated server, UPS and observer rooms, fibre LAN with backup, online UPS with an auto-switch silent DG, and CCTV across the hall and entry areas, with multiple shifts per exam day. Request a site audit on WhatsApp.
